  • To make the best possible progress in Artificial Intelligence, the Bouygues Group has joined “Impact IA,” a think-and-act tank launched at Microsoft’s initiative. Major digital players—such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, IBM, and, of course, Microsoft—are investing heavily in AI, as it is a field with immense future potential. These major groups aim to establish benchmarks and showcase their achievements by setting up open, participatory innovation structures. We chose to join the initiative Microsoft launched in Paris, thereby gaining access to their expertise and resources regarding the technical, practical, and ethical aspects of the subject. I am convinced that we will learn a great deal from this partnership, not least through the sharing of experiences among the consortium’s other stakeholders.
